New Product: Lightdrop

Astera’s latest product is a all-in-one LED spotlight. The so-called Lightdrop features powerful 2W LED lightsources as well as a long lasting battery and a wireless receiver. With a standard Astera remote this wireless LED spotlight can be easily controlled to set a vibrant mood or splendid colors to match any atmosphere.

Although the Lightdrop features a magnetic back and can be easily attached below tables, boards and ceilings, the product is intended to be used inside decorative objects such as translucent balls, cubes or other shapes. By placing bottles, crystal balls or other transparent objects directly onto the lightdrop, stunning light-effects can be instantly created.

The Lightdrop can be integrated into other large LED lighting setups indoors and outdoors. With Astera’s wireless remote it can be grouped or synchronized with other LED light sources. Together, a cluster of Lightdrops provide enough colorful light to entirely light small bar or dinner room. In addition, this cordless LED spotlight can be setup to set accents in only parts of a room.

The versatile Lightdrop was designed for event lighting companies who can quickly set it up for various needs. However, another Lightdrop version will be available for end consumers which will feature a simplified remote control among a charger and a diffuser adapter.
