Astera has developed a range of industry-leading technologies and unique features that makes the company stand apart from other LED lighting manufacturers.

Wireless Operation

Most of Astera’s LED products have a wireless receiver and a battery already included inside their housing. That enables an easy and cordless setup and is especially attractive for event decoration, stage lighting and other temporary installations done by ambitious lighting designers. Colors and programs of the LED lamps can be controlled over a distance of 300 meters and the standalone units have enough power for 8-24 hours of operation, depending on color modes and light intensity.

Advanced Controlling

Astera’s industry-leading engineers have been designing LED lighting controllers for many years. As a result, a range of sophisticated controllers are now available which bring several technology innovations along: A hand unit with a complete control of light calibration and complex control of up to 170 lamps or pixels; a mobile powering and controlling unit that can be connected to basic lighting products and a DMX transmitter that compresses the DMX protocol to pass long distances and allows a connection between Astera controllers and DMX controllers.

Accessories & Mounting Options

Astera’s products are extremely versatile and each product can be used in many situations and has several mounting possibilities. Most LED lamps are designed to be temporary fitted inside decorative accessories for different occasions. By owning just a few lamps, and several objects and adapters, an infinite number of lighting solutions becomes possible. For event organizers and rental companies, Astera offers maximum possibilities with a moderate investment.

RGB & White

Unlike most other LED manufacturers, Astera has mounted a white LED unit next to the usual RGB modules. This enables a broader lighting spectrum and colors that are more pleasant to the human eye. Especially when displaying pastel colors and clear white, better results can be achieved and power can be saved as the red, green and blue channels can be left at minimum. That is one of the secrets behind the long battery operation time.

ODM / Product Development

Astera is offering an extended product range and is constantly launching new products. However, for special needs ODM lighting solutions and customized housing can quickly be developed by experienced engineers. Astera’s great experience with programming lighting controllers and an own work station in South China facilitate the manufacturing of tailored set-ups.
